Simon knew all too well about what Lev was feeling. He had to become something he didn't recognize anymore. He hated being called a creature, a monster. He sneered. "Hey, I'm the only thing keeping squidy and fluffy up there from tearing your astral projection into oblivion. I suggest you don't tick me off." Simon snarled the next words, "And you think you're the only unlucky bastard in the world? You have no idea what I've gone through through."

Lev and Simon stood there for a few moments, glaring at each other fiercely, neither willing to back down. Finally, Lev sighed and looked away and recomposed himself.
"Right then," the man said finally. "Let's get the rest of the keys."

"Agreed." Simon replied emotionless. "But this time, I pick." He pointed to the coliseum. "And we're going there." He was just about tired of Lev. He could get his own stupid keys for all he cared. he was ready to leave him for dead.
(I feel Simon and Lev have a hate-focus friendship.)

"Whatever," Lev replied, ignoring the boy as he looked out at the coliseum in the distance.

Simon went on top of squidy. "And you're walking Mister-I-need-some-anger-management!" Simon said curtly before having squidy speed off before Lev even had a chance of getting on.

((Sorry I haven't been responding much guys, travelling across the country messes with computer availability a bit.))
In the shadows of the pyramid, watching the Censor boy leave on top of the Kraken, sat a feathered snake, wings folded carefully against the back of a humanoid upper body. Azuhoatl. The Censor had surprised him by being able to control not only the Kraken, but also the Jaguar.
But the man the Censor had left behind also troubled Azuhoatl. He didn't seem like the kind of person that Mallaidh, The Creator, would allow into her mind. The Guardian's snake-like tongue darted out between two long, venomous fangs. The man didn't quite smell right.
With a loud hiss and a flap of his wings, Azuhoatl dove gracefully and quickly down to confront this man.

"Nurrr?" The kraken asked questioningly, "What do you mean, why did I leave him? He's a jerk! He doesn't deserve my help." "Nurrr..." Simon sighed at the kraken's whimper. "I know it's not like me, but...I don't know how to explain it, but something about him gives me a bad vibe." "Nur?" "Of course I felt it too. Theres something about him that makes him...un-trusting." Simon took another look to the pyramid just in time to see a long feathered snake-looking thing coming downwards towards Lev. "Hang on squidy." The Kraken-Censor stopped. "I want to see this."

Lev had been pondering whether to follow Simon and beat a lesson or two into the boy's head when a huge thing dove down in front of him in a flurry of feathers. He jumped back in alarm, seeing it to be a man- no, not a man, but a man with a feathery snake's body where his legs should have been and large, majestic wings on his back. It hissed, flicking a thin, forked tongue, as it bared its long fangs.
Lev's eyes narrowed and he crouched slightly, going into a defensive position. He could feel the creature's intent radiating out from its simple mind; leave this place or suffer the consequences. But the Russian psychic had never been one to back down from a fight, and wasn't about to let a big bird destroy his most important plans from the inside out.

"He's actually going to fight Azuhoatl? He's dumber then I thought!" "Nur?" "Leave? Are you kidding!? This is gonna be fun to watch." He said with a grin, making himself comfortable. "Hey Azuhoatl! Aim for the eyes!"

Hissing loudly again and allowing his fangs to drip with venom, Azuhoatl spread both his wings and his arms wide, revealing a brightly colored, cobra-like hood of skin that stretched between his arms and his sides. He stretched his mouth wide, literally from ear to ear thanks to extra stretchy flaps of skin at the corners of his mouth.
The Guardian of the pyramid made a few false-strikes at Lev, darting forward only to pull back at the last second. Azuhoatl coiled his serpentine body in a circle around Lev, trying to keep his opponent from escaping. And in a lightning fast movement Azuhoatl dove forward, making a true snake-like strike at Lev.

Lev had only a split second to move, but move he did; straight upwards by creating an explosion in the sand beneath his feet.. From there, Azuhoatl still on his course for the Russian psychic but blinded by the flying sand, he slammed himself into the creature in an act of almost suicidal battle tactics.
Lev was quickly on top of the monster, pinning his wings down and twisting his arms behind his back. He made sure to keep those wicked, venom-dripping fangs in his sight at all times so he couldn't be caught off guard. At the same time, he curled psychic energy around his hands to form his trademark cryokinetic fists, almost burning Azuhoatl's skin with the icy cold.

"Aw... he's winning." "Nur!" "Alright, I'll go help him already! Sheesh...right after I see what happens next." The kraken angrily grabbed him and growled in his face. "Ah! Or now! I'll go now!" The kraken humphed and set Simon down to go after Lev.

In Lev's painful grip, Azuhoatl was thrashing for all he was worth, attempting to twist free and knock the psychic off of him. Being reptilian meant that the cold cryokinetic hands were painful to him, and his light bones were being twisted hard and he was beginning to seriously worry about them being broken.
Amidst the thrashing, Azuhoatl snaked his tail around Lev's midsection and pulled as hard as he could to try to get the man off of him.

Simon angrily looked back at the kraken, before making one of the signature censor portals in midair, putting his goggles on and reappearing...
...right underneath Lev and Azuhoatl, the goggles blocking out any sand from the two struggling. Simon made it quick and easy. One stamping for Lev and five for Azuhoatl. The stamp hit it's targets, paralyzing them instantly.

Lev was enraged, to say the least. What the hell just happened?! he was almost screaming in raw anger within his own head. He couldn't move an inch; he was simply frozen with that accursed snake's tail wrapped around his middle.
His eyes followed Simon with a poisonous look as the little Censor-boy carefully wriggled out from under the psychic and his monster opponent where he'd stamped the two of them, and began to walk back to his disgusting pet leviathan. He tried to writhe a bit, and found he could move- but only slightly because of Azuhoatl's thick tail firmly wrapped around him, effectively anchoring him down, and the lingering effects of the stamp.
However, this small allowance for movement was enough for him; and he quickly seized Simon with a telekinetic hand and dragged the boy back to him with a wrathful, hissing growl.
