With another flash of flames the Phoenix reappeared and began to follow Lev to the Coliseum.
Meanwhile, from the Coliseum came a trio of feral howls from deep inside the labyrinth. Venomous hissing growls emanated from the coliseum and shining red eyes peered out from the deep shadows of the coliseum's column-covered exterior. Scraping noises and the clack of hooves echoed through the empty labyrinth passages and an animalistic snort echoed through the building's cavernous interior.

Lev was unfazed by the intimidation tactics that were so obviously being used and continued to walk across the sand, gaining speed steadily as he knew he was getting closer to his goal than ever. Sure, he was bleeding pretty badly; but as long as he kept the wounds under pressure he'd be fine in a little while.
He finally arrived at the Coliseum's arching entrance. The Russian man looked around, wary of any other Censors or guardians that may try to make him stray from his path. Note to self: If one of those tries that again, he thought as he entered the Coliseum, blow them up on the spot.

A thick, gurgling hiss echoed from the darkened space beyond the columns. In the shadows directly in front of Lev, a pair of glowing red eyes opened. Then another pair to his left. Then another to his right.

Lev froze in mid-step, watching as the three pairs of eyes opened around him. Great, a three-headed monster, he thought to himself, taking a step back as his mind began to whip together a plan.

A large talon stepped forward out of the shadows, and then another. A scaly chest emerged and then three long, flexible necks. At the top of each neck sat a grotesque reptilian face with long, needle-like teeth and glaring red eyes. The three heads of the Hydra opened their mouths and roared simultaneously, a deafening noise in the echoing coliseum.

(Yes, I should hope so!)
Lev winced and covered his ears as the monster in front of him roared, the needle-sharp fangs in each of its three mouths glistening evilly. He grimaced at the three-headed monster, shifting into a fighting position. He was going to get his memories out of this woman's mind, and he was going to get them at any cost.
