It had been a relatively calm day at the concert hall; their practice had gone well, and the Maestro hadn't become too violent at all. In fact, he had seemed a bit excited, conducting with great vigor and enthusiasm, though if one mistake was made he would, as normal, chew them out. For the orchestra, this was a welcome development; they were not safe yet, though, for the Maestro had not turned back to normal. But for now, this peace would do.
"Yes... beautiful, almost," he now murmured to himself as the orchestra finished playing one of the last notes of the song. "Acceptable, for once," he said sternly to the orchestra as they finished. "We may actually be ready in time for that concert if you all keep this up. You are dismissed for the night."
The various members of the orchestra now began to pack up their instruments, murmuring quietly to each other as the Maestro glided down from his high podium and landed expertly, departing silently to his room in the back. The Thereminist watched him go, then turned to the seats behind him and whispered, "Безопасно для вас прийти вне теперь, маленькое одно." [means, It's safe for you to come out now, little one)
A small face similar to the Thereminist's own poked out from behind the seats, a small smile on its lips. "То было красивейше," [that was beautiful] Young Lev said softly. The Thereminist smiled and said thank you as well. Then, the little boy said:
"Кто-то здесь с мной. He' s уснувший, я думаю." [Someone is here with me. He's asleep, I think.] He pointed to the white-haired man lying in between the seats, looking almost comatose since his eyes were closed. The Thereminist gave a startled gasp.
"Сколько времени он там? Почему didn' t вы говорите что-нибыдь?" [How long has he been there? Why didn't you say anything?] the Thereminist asked, looking over the man nervously and then back at the boy.
"Я не хотел получить уловленным и I didn' t хочет проводника увидеть его!" the boy retorted quietly, and the two began to have a small argument.

Noise had a way of both waking a person, and putting them to sleep, depending entirely on the sound made. One of the many paradoxical forces of the universe, sound ranked low in importance or fame, however, and noise, being a sub-group of sound, even less so. No one thought about it, fewer cared to think about it, and those that did, had better things to think about.
Such was the way of the world.
Arguments weren’t exactly alien to the man that sat, uncomfortably scrunched up between the seats of the gigantic concert hall. However, he wasn’t a heavy sleeper, either, and though such a familiar sound roused his mind into wakefulness slowly, it roused it all the same, and even though he had no idea where he was, why he was waking up there, or what was happening, he did know one thing.
”….I’ve been captured by Russians!” he muttered that in a bare whisper of a breath to himself, shifting with great care to try and pop himself out from between the seats. He felt more than a little like a sardine, and something hard was digging into his calf. For all he knew, he was being kidnapped and was going to be…. Well, who knows? He wasn’t worth much on ransom OR for a medical guy forced to take care of people… When he was out, he might even take the time to take stock of his situation! For now, though, his orange eyes were just slits, trying not to let either of the arguers know he was awake before he’d made his escape.

The Thereminist looked over at Orien nervously, then glanced around at the other musicians. Once he was sure that no one was watching him, he quickly stepped over the seats (which wasn't too difficult, seeing as he was around six feet tall) and into the aisle. Young Lev stepped out of his way as he went over to the white-haired man and asked in his accented voice:
"U-uhm, sir? Sir, are you awake? Are you... okay? What were you doing in de audience??"

“What?” Oh look, English! That made Orien stop a moment, feeling that…. if he was being kidnapped, he certainly wasn’t going to be spoken to that nicely. Along with the fact that he’d stopped, and the idea that he wasn’t in some van awaiting dismemberment made him instantly aware of his surroundings more. The seats, the grand opera concert hall. He felt a bit of fear rise in his gut as he realized Apex and Beacon weren’t with him, his eyes widening somewhat. Frack, where…. Had…? Was teleportation a psychic skill?
“You… know more than I do about that, kid…” moving to try and stand up, he winced again, reaching down to try and get whatever was wedged under him unstuck. Once he was up, though, and looking at himself, he wondered why in all the world he was in a rather impressive blue trenchcoat. And not only that, his entire outfit was…. polished. He looked….
Like a bard…
“Oh, cool…” Muttering that as he finally got what was under him, he pulled up the acoustic guitar, orange eyes lighting up, “I haven’t had one of these since….” He stopped suddenly, looking at the two, noting their similarities with rising suspicion, “……where… am I?”

The Thereminist looked curiously at his instrument. "We got a guitarist?" he murmured to himself with a look of confusion as Orien himself looked over it, but came to attention when Orien asked where he was.
"Er... you're in de concert hall, Mr.... um.... what is your name, sir?" The Thereminist said nervously, ending his speech with a question. Young Lev, however, was now behind the Thereminist, peeking out from behind his legs and looking up at Orien with a scared but curious look on his face.

It wasn’t hard to see that this was a concert hall. Vaulted ceilings, a stage, and various tools for instruments as well as an old fashioned, grand look to it made the likeliness of this being a normal theater next to nil. However, though manners were something Orien had little of, he didn’t deign to point out that ‘concert hall’ was rather a vague way of answering. He hadn’t exactly specified what he wanted to know, after all.
Silent for a long moment, the white-haired man paused to reflect on his situation. He didn’t know where he was…. that was his biggest problem. There were no areas near the camp with a concert hall, and he really doubted anyone would go through the trouble of drugging and kidnapping him. His cats’ yowling would have woken up half the camp before they could have gotten three steps away. He had to assume that the Russians had not captured him. And as far as Orien could remember, he had never owned either this outfit, or this guitar, both of which, regardless, seemed completely made for him. Both were royal blue, his favorite color.
There was only one logical conclusion, and he didn’t like it, frowning.
“Huh…? Oh, Bell. Dr. Orien Bell. I’d rather just be called Orien, if you don’t mind.” It wasn’t exactly a request. His last name was a little too feminine for his liking. Catching sight of Young Lev behind the Thereminist’s legs, however, the man moved to kneel down a bit, leaning on his guitar idly and smiling, “Hey there, kiddo. You don’t need to be afraid; I won’t hurt you.” This mind had some thankfully normal-seeming people in it. Orien wasn’t going to let his guard down after last time, though, but… really, what harm could such a cute kid do?

Young Lev shied away when Orien knelt, looking up at the Thereminist and whispering something in Russian. The Thereminist answered with another whisper in the same language, and it seemed to calm the boy.
"Thank you for telling me, Mr. Orien," the Thereminist said respectfully. "I am de Thereminist, and dis is Lev," he said, gesturing to himself and to the boy as he said their names. "I'm afraid dat Lev does not know English, you see, so if you want to ask 'eem somethink, you should have me dranslate. Well, unless you speak Russian." As the Thereminist explained, Young Lev still watched Orien with wide, unsure eyes, though his unsureness was permeated with a sense of curiosity as well.
The Thereminist looked curiously at Orien's instrument. "Are you a new musician? I didn't know we were getting a guitarist..."

“I speak about as much Russian as a welcome mat on an American porch,” which was, basically, none at all. Grinning a little and giving a soft nod to the boy, the doctor stood from where he was with a small grunt, understanding that he’d probably need the Thereminist if he ever wanted to get the kid to make heads or tails of what he was saying. That wasn’t much of a surprise to him, though. Most normal people couldn’t make heads or tails of what he was saying to begin with, “Good to meet you guys, though. As for being a guitarist, well… only one way to really find out…” Orien moved toward the stage a bit, just enough so that he could park his rear on the edge of it and look over the guitar he was holding. It really wasn’t a complex thing in itself. The colors, certainly, were stunning. Orien wished with a burning passion he’d had one in that kind of sparkling blue for himself when he was younger.
“I haven’t played for a few years. I remember really well, though…” and it was something he really had never unlearned. Like a dream, he could feel all the chords coming back to him as he put his fingers into the strings, strumming them lightly and listening hard. The instrument seemed to be well tuned, but he adjusted the tightness of a few strings just to be sure of it, strumming again until he was happy with the quiet noise. Something or other, maybe his own secretive ways, told him he shouldn’t be loud in this place. “You guys been looking for musicians?”

"Uhm... well.... we're not... really, looking for musicians..." the Thereminist said slowly, glancing around nervously for the Conductor. "But.... ah... dere have been a few musicians dat have gone... missing. Yes, missing." He looked towards the doors in the back sadly. "Such a bad winter..." he murmured.
Young Lev looked up at him in confusion when he sensed the man's nervousness, but looked away quickly when he got less stressed. Instead, the boy's vision wandered to the new door that had appeared in the back wall, near the stage. He'd been absently wondering about it during the whole performance that day, and he looked at it with the innocent curiosity only a child possesses.
The little boy tugged at the Thereminist's jacket to get his attention. "Сэр, Вы будете знать, что это за новая дверь?" [sir, what's behind that new door?] he said quietly, and pointed at the new door.
The Thereminist looked at it in confusion. He hadn't noticed the new door at all during the performance. "Когда же, что туда добраться?"[How did that get there?] he murmured to himself, absently trying to jog his memory- and just about forgetting Orien was there.

Such a reassuring thought, was the idea that a lot of musicians were going missing from here. A pause in the strumming of the strings left the idle, almost violent sounding tones of the Russian accent to go on unhindered. Equally unhindered was Orien’s incomprehension of a single mote of understanding for what the conversation was about, save the fact that one kid pointed at a door that was apparently a topic of interest. More interest than his arrival, apparently, and for that Orien was a little glad. These two were just hard to understand, and they didn't seem to like that he had come here so much as seemed scared of him or what his arrival meant…
“Well, you guys have fun talking about that. I’m going to go do... stuff.” With that, Orien rolled his legs up onto the stage and stood, heading toward the back where the doors were. If they were interesting enough to be of note to the people here, he really felt like seeing what was behind it. Doors just didn’t appear out of nowhere in the real world; he was more and more certain that he was astral projecting yet again, and if that was true, he had little to fear if he just followed his instincts and his common sense.
The first thing to do with a door, of course, was to check and see if it opened. Obviously, Orien wasn’t so much of an idiot that he tried to yank it open and broke his arm off. But if it did open, he’d go through, hopefully before the two at the stage could stop him.
Into the hole again…

"он идет к новой двери!" Young Lev said suddenly, and the Thereminist was jerked out of his train of thought by his shout. He quickly spotted Orien going for the new door- though that was mostly Orien's fault, for having that blue tuxedo on...
"'EY! Wh- what are you doing?! We don't know what iz behind dat door! It may not be safe..." he yelled across the stage to Orien, scrambling onto the wooden surface and speed-walking towards the doctor with his long-legged strides. Not wanting to be left behind, Young Lev scrambled up onto the stage as well and scurried after his companion.

Oh, look at that…
There was a slight pause in the young man’s movements as the voices, panicked, reached the ears of someone who was finding his will to care fast disappearing. There was something that just didn’t settle right with him when it came to standing around someplace, listening to people talk in a language he couldn’t understand, feeling that he should fear something or other that would swoop down to harm him if he wasn’t a good little pawn. No, the white-haired doctor was a man of action, and when the going seemed uncertain, he always wanted to do something about it. If they were scared of this new door, if no one knew what was behind it… all’s the better.
“How are you going to know unless you jump in and find out?” Orien sliced his gaze behind him toward the others, his oddly colored eyes holding a distinctly rebellious streak as he, having heard the warning and ignoring it, turned the handle to the door and pushed it in.

The Thereminist hesitated and opened his mouth as if to reply, but the boy cut him off by saying excitedly in Russian, "Yes! Let's find out! It may not be anything bad, after all!" To this, the Thereminist looked down at him in confusion and murmured, "...you understand English now?"
"A little bit," said the younger Lev in Russian. "But yes! We should see what's there with him!" And with those words, the boy scurried over to the now opened door. The Thereminist gave a small sigh and followed after the boy, looking through the door.
The door opened up onto a large, ornate spiraling stair case, made of a fine red wood (much like many of the other furnishings in the concert hall). There were also a few gold accents on the banister here and there. The Thereminist looked at it in confusion, wondering how something this big could have appeared over night, but had only a moment to study it before the boy began to climb them. "Hey! Wait!" the young man called, quickly following the boy as he scurried upwards.
(lol yes I'm quitting the dumb translations XD)

Into a once glorious garden, now seeped in dark decay…
It was beautiful here. Every flute or beam or banister had the most wonderful details, and all the accents were thought out so perfectly. Truthfully, Orien, not much of one to go to concert halls anyhow, likened it to the brief, fleeting glances of the great opera houses and other such grand affairs. Being so close to it, he couldn’t have any idea of the bigger picture that might have been painted here, but he didn’t need to know what the place was used for to know how well-taken care of it was, and in that, he found a sense of unease mixed with a sense of respect.
“So much for being careful, eh?” Moving over to let the kid and the Thereminist run past, Orien chuckled. Thankfully, there were no other strange people to be found as of yet, and the man could find time to run his hand over the beautiful red wood before he found himself climbing. It wasn’t as much a race for him as an exploration, though he did enjoy how the young kid was having fun, glancing up to see how far they had to go and how far they were ahead of him while he hefted the guitar on his back. Something he’d said must have struck some sort of chord in the kid, because he hadn’t thought the shy boy capable of such explosive speed and energy.
Still, maybe infected by childish vigor, the white-haired man upped his pace, trying to at least get even with the Thereminist as they climbed up to whatever surprises might jump out of the woodwork at them.

Young Lev raced up the stairs, feet pattering against the rich red carpet on its' steps in a fast beat, quickly followed by the Thereminist. The young man was slightly in awe at this sudden energy; he'd always known the child to be quiet and cautious. It seemed like it was someone else that was climbing these richly-decorated stairs with such vim and vigor.
Young Lev glanced behind him, back at the Thereminist, and spotted both of the men following him. He giggled and turned back to his course- only to abruptly stop when he came off the stairs and onto a platform, going too fast to stop before he ran, face first, into a door. The Thereminist emerged from the stairway moments after, and with a gasp, hurried over to tend to the boy.
"Are you okay??" he asked quickly in Russian, noticing that the boy was rubbing his nose gingerly. The boy nodded after a moment, squinting at his older friend, before looking at what he'd run into. It was an ornate door, decorated in the same way as the rest of the concert hall. It had golden accents on the beautiful red wood, including a golden door knocker, a letter slot, and a small plaque at eye level.
The Thereminist got up after a moment to read the plaque, which was written in Russian. "...'The Composers'..." he murmured to himself, for it was what he read.
