Boyd was standing near the parking lot, taking notes in his notebook as he looked around at the scenery. Everything seemed a bit calmer than usual, which in Boyd's opinion was very, very, VERY good. Boyd still had his constant expression of worry though. Claire had been gone for quite some time and he was starting to... To actually miss her. He sighed and continued writing.
He wasn't wearing his jacket today since he had forgotten to take it out of the dryer. He was also a bit upset about this because he believed that jacket was what made him look like a professional. Thus Boyd tried his best to look like he was working hard at his job in case someone were to walk by.
Despite loving everything to be calm and collected, Boyd couldn't help but feel a little bored. It was unlike him, but there was literally nothing going on at the camp right now. He silently hoped that something strange would happen just so he could feel a little freaked out again...

"Thank you..."
Having collected her bags, Cassandra thanked the cabbie for driving all the way out to the camp (She was surprised that the cab company didn't refuse her offer when she had called them), and began walking towards where she knew her cabin was. At some point in her trek, the bags-- All from rather thrifty clothing stores-- had become airborne, thanks to her telekinesis. Was it a bad thing to spend the time where you were supposed to be working out shopping instead? Probably.
But she couldn't help it. Ever since that class where that British girl caught fire, none of the campers ever came to her lessons, leaving her with quite a lot of free time on her hands, and a sinking feeling of failure in her gut. She hated the feeling of not completing a job to the best of her abilities, and unfortunately, this one was Summer-long, meaning that feeling was here to stay for quite some time ...
While lost in her self-pity and frustration at herself, Cassandra unfortunately did not notice the large tree-stump that had caught her eye the first time she had arrived at the camp. Without missing a beat, she walked straight into the stump, and went falling, along with her bags, to the pavement, releasing a pained cry upon impact.

Boyd suddenly shot up from his note taking when he heard the pain of cry. He saw Miss Cassandra falling flat on her face and gasped. He quickly dropped what he was doing and ran over to the poor and spacey woman, "Oh dear Miss, are you alright? Here I'll help you up..." Boyd offered a hand to the woman with as normal a smile as he could manage.
He had seen this woman walking around the camp, but had always assumed she was just a sister of Sasha's. Apparently she wasn't, considering how un-German she sounded. She was a fellow teacher like himself, that much he knew, but he felt a bit bad not knowing what it was she taught. He looked around awkwardly but tried his best to appear sane while in the presence of another teacher. He didn't want to lose his job... Losing his job was the LAST thing he wanted... That and girl scout cookies. He really didn't like those girl scout cookies.

"Damn it..."
Cassandra cursed herself for her stupidity. Apparently, she was too distracted with her own self-pity to notice the gigantic stump in the middle of the parking lot. Even if she did have more on her mind than usual, it usually wasn't distracting enough to walk straight into solid surfaces....
"Where are my glasses?" Cassandra mumbled as she began feeling around for her shades, as if she were blind without them. She eventually felt them and quickly returned them to their rightful place, once again covering her eyes. For a moment, she believed herself to be the only person in the parking lot that day, which made the otherwise embarassing momentless so, allowing Cassandra to find a small silver lining...
... That the presence of Boyd quickly tarnished.
"Oh, you're... Mister Cooper, correct?" Cassandra said as she took Boyd's hand and hoisted herself up and off the ground. She eyed the man carefully for a moment, trying to think of something appropriate to say. She had never even met this person before, and yet here he was, helping her. It would be rude to not say anything...
She smiled at him, running a hand through her hair before speaking.
"I... guess I failed to notice that stump! Haha, wow, I'm an airhead today. Thanks for the help..." Her words sounded horribly forced as she spoke. She immediately made an attempt to telekinetically lift her bags from the pavement, but due to a growing pain behind her forehead, found it impossible to so much as lift them for 2 seconds before they fell back to the ground.
Cassandra let out a small, annoyed chuckle before going to collect the bags herself. She hadn't realized exactly how large the bags were until she went to lift them; There were only 4, but one person carrying them all by hand would be impossible...

Boyd gave the woman a concerned look. She was spacey, sure, he was too, but that stump was a pretty obvious thing to see. In any case he tried his best to seem friendly and sane to the woman, but he was beginning to worry a bit about how he was coming off. He was never good with first impressions.
Boyd then noticed the bags, and looked down at his arms as if to make sure he was strong enough and forgot, "I can help you with your bags miss... No trouble at all..." he said in that calm and pleasing neighborhood dad tone that one might here on a 50's sitcom which appeared to be Boyd's major focus on how the outside world saw him as of now. He tried to pick up one of the bags just to see how heavy it was, and to someone like Boyd who was randomly pretty strong (and large), it was light. He smiled proudly, seeing as this wasn't going to be as hard as he originally planned. He placed the bag down and looked over at Cassandra with a saner looking smile than usual, "So uh... Yes I'm willing to help! Right..." he ended it a bit awkwardly... He was still Boyd after all, and it was hard to hide who he truly was deep down inside: An awkward, mentally unbalanced, paranoid who constantly thought about the worst.

While she felt more than a bit ashamed at the fact that she couldn't lift the bags herself, Cassandra still didn't want Boyd's help. Maybe because she was being a bit prideful, but at the same time, hated the idea of making somebody go out of their way to do something for her...
Still, he had offered to help. It would be rude to turn his aid down and besides, she really did need it.
"Thank you, Mr. Cooper. I appreciate it." She gave Boyd another smile, seconds before wincing from the pain concentrating behind her forehead. There was definitely something bruising up there, she could feel it... She assumed this must've been some kind of karma for shopping when she was supposed to be working...
"Shall we be going? My cabin is this way..." Cassandra spoke with a hint of annoyance in her words before walking off. It wasn't Boyd's fault, no; She was more irritated at the pain in her head, and herself in general, than she was anything else at that moment.

Boyd could sense an annoyance in her tone and that made him nervous. Had he done something wrong? Had he screwed something up with not realizing it? He did that a lot... Or at least... He thought he did. He suddenly found himself asking a lot of questions in his thought process. Boyd always asked himself questions when he was nervous. It wasn't much help to him in terms of making him much happier, but it distracted him from the nervousness a bit. He picked up her bags, sighed in response to her annoyed tone and followed after her rather awkwardly. There were a lot of bags.
Boyd found himself wondering what was in the bags, but he quickly stopped himself. Despite being an accomplished clairvoyant, he found it hard to resist meddling in other people's affairs... Inconspicuously of course. He tried his absolute best not to try and question her or ask her about her trip. He didn't want to annoy her any more than he already had. He looked around a little as he walked to try and find something to distract himself from the cold vibes this woman was giving off. The bags became heavier with each negative thought and he eventually just sort of put them down to rest, "I'm sorry ma'am, is it alright if I take a quick break? Like five minutes maybe? I'm sorry I'm just not... Feeling that great..." he put a hand to his forehead and slumped down by a nearby tree to try and rest up... And relax...

Cassandra came to a halt at Boyd's request, watching as him as he slumped most dejectedly at the base of a tree. Cassandra thought for a moment that maybe he simply wasn't as strong as she thought he had been, or maybe... it was something else.
"A rest?... That's fine." Cassandra tried to speak softly and succeeded for the most part as she set her bags on the ground and took a seat near Boyd on a large rock, bringing her legs together neatly, as if she were about to have tea with the friggin' Queen of England. Cassandra might have been in the middle of the woods at a Summer Camp, but she was still a lady, damn it, and she wasn't about to drop her etiquette just because of that.
"Sooo..." She began awkwardly. Small talk wasn't one of her strong points, but simply sitting there with a sullen Boyd in silence was worse than talking about that mornings cup of coffee or ... whatever people normally talked about.
"How've you been?" Her words were rigged and a bit forced, but there was an honest attempt at friendliness behind them. And maybe the question was on odd one, considering that Boyd was, quite obviously, bothered by something.

Boyd sat for awhile before he realized she was talking to him. He was a little surprised. Very surprised actually. It was easier to tell how surprised he was than he wanted it to be. He wasn't very good at keeping eye contact so he just sort of stared into space as he replied, "Oh uh... I've been uh... Good I guess... Um... Just sort of... Hanging around..."
He was an obviously awkward man. Just from the way that he spoke you could tell that something was a bit... Off. He seemed like he was trying though which was nice. Boyd did have determination despite his weaknesses. He decided to keep the conversation going even though it was making him even more stressed. He couldn't just kill a conversation like that, that'd be rude, "So um... You're a teacher here too? How have the uh... Kids been?"
He wasn't quite confident in his question asking skills, but he asked her anyway.
