Character’s Name: Nicolai Galochio
Look of Door: Nico's mental door is that of the door to his room on the caravan back home, respectively. It's painted in shades of blue and teal, with golden edging and the Galochio symbol painted in the center. The doorknob is simple brass.
Name of Mental World: The Island of Kronos
Look of Censors: The Censors look as they do normally.
Basic Layout: Nicolai's mind is mostly made up of his favorite element: water. You can stare as much as you want; you won't see more than the ocean for miles and miles around.
There is, however, one sanctuary from the salty water; this is the Island of Kronos. This is a lush tropical island, with a huge waterfall at its center that goes high into the clouds of the forest that surrounds it on all sides. There are three houses built near the waterfall, all identical in design but each with a different amount of weathering: the first is the newest, with bright colors and almost fresh-cut wood; the second is a little older, its paint peeling a little in places and its wood more likely to splinter. The third is the oldest, with almost no paint at all and very brittle wood.
If you venture behind the falling sheet of water, you'll find a passageway that leads into the mountain's many catacomb-like caves. It's difficult to get around in here without getting lost along the way, but if you have a guide and you ask nicely he MAY show you the Mother's memorial. But only maybe.
Important People:
The Three Fates: The Three Fates are the only residents on the Island of Kronos; they are a teen-aged boy, a young man, and an old man. They are all able to predict the future; the old man can see farthest, and the boy can see the least. They protect the island and the ocean from those who would try to harm it.
The First Fate is Nico. He appears much as he would in the real world, but with a less pompous personality. In his mind, he's a little more quiet and reserved, even a bit timid- and sad, for some reason. However, if the island or the other two Fates are threatened, he will get much more fierce. He spends more time around the waterfall and in the forest than he does at his house, which is the newest one.
The Second Fate is Nicky. He is an older version of Nico, around twenty years old by the way he looks and acts. He wears, as always, his signature eyepatch, a clean white shirt with a striped vest over it, and flared dark blue pants, as well as some pointy black shoes. He is very snarky and confident, and goofs off a lot. He, also, will become fierce as a tiger if the island or the other Fates are threatened. He spends a lot of time hanging around outside of the Three Fates' houses, his own being the second oldest.
The Third and final Fate is Nicholas. He is the old man, about seventy years old by the looks of him. He wears the eyepatch, a large shawl over his shoulders, and simple blue-toned clothes. He is the quietest and wisest of the fates, knowing all that will happen in both Nico's life (since all three are just Nicolai at different stages in his life). He, however, keeps quiet about it, and will never tell until it's time. Interestingly enough, he is very kind to most newcomers. He is old and tired, obviously, and rarely leaves his house- the oldest one of the three, respectively. Like Nico and Nicky, Nicholas too will become a fierce protector of the island.
The Mother: This person is only ever spoken of and never seen in any part of Nico's mind. If you ask any of the Three Fates about her, they will simply reply with the story of her death, how she was lost to the waterfall during a terrible storm. There is a memorial to her in the center of the waterfall's mountain that has a small statue of her and occasionally, a few offerings of flowers or food. The Fates also believe that her spirit resides in the memorial.
Costume Changes: There are no costume changes in this mind.
Basic Plot: Nicholas, the eldest of the Three Fates, has forseen a terrible event in which the island and the Mother's spirit are destroyed by a young newcomer, and so the Three Fates have been on their toes protecting the island and searching for whomever might wish to harm it. They will draft anyone who enters the mind into their service, making them search for clues as to who it is. You may receive clues from the Fates, but beware: Nico's clues are often incorrect, Nicky's are always the opposite of what he means, and Nicholas's, the most accurate, are exceedingly hard to come by.
Reasoning for Mental World: The ocean represents two things, being Nico's love of water and how he sometimes feels isolated from the rest of the world. His family has even isolated him a bit, since he is the newest curse-caster and hasn't yet learned to do it. The Three Fates represent his precognition. The sanctuary for the Mother represents his sadness over losing his own mother, and his remembrance of her. The Fate that represents Nicolai is sad and insecure, and this represents how he feels under his pompous shell: sad and isolated, with no one and nothing to depend on but himself.
