Special Abilities: Is EXTREME LUCK a special ability? No? Um... She can contort her tongue to look like a four-leaf clover. HOW'S THAT FOR A SPECIAL ABILITY?!
Profession: U.S. correspondant for the top news channel in Greece, "Greece World News".
Skills: Excellent cameraman (Camerawoman?) ; Can kick your ass in any video game; Decent cook; Can contort her tongue into various shapes (EPIC SKILLZ!!1); A smooth talker (As in, can get almost anyone to talk about almost anything, even secret stuff)
Weaknesses: Prone to guilt-trips; Can't stand angry yelling/screaming to the point that she freezes up when she hears it; Her equipment (Seriously, the video camera alone cost the station 2,000 bucks, and she doesn't want that coming out of her paycheck, so is very protective of her equipment) ; Her friends and family (One of the few things she'll get incensed about if a person mistreats them); Highly sensitive.

Her brown hair is long, past her shoulders, very wavy with a curl at the tips, and is usually kept in a high ponytail, with the left side of her bangs kept lose. Her skin is a light tan in tone, due mostly in part to all the time she spends outdoors. Katerina is a highly expressive person, mostly in part to her large, olive green eyes, a small mole beneath the corner of her right eye. Overall, a normal-looking, pretty girl.

Clothing Style/Uniform: Wears a small, thin-strapped red tank-top with a very tiny bow at the top hem. Dresses for summer with a pear of khaki capris and sandals. Accessorizes with a plastic, black pearl bracelet (Right hand) and choker necklace set.
Family:
Mother, Alexandra; 54. Used to own a restaurant, aptly called 'Alexandra's'. Retired after leaving the restaurant under her son's care.
Father, Ioannus; Deceased. Died from food poisoning shortly before Katerina was born.
Brother, Leander; 31. Katerina's wheelchair-bound elder brother. A cheerful, kind man, who is very protective of his little sister, 'Katty'. Runs his retired-Mother's restaurant, and is doing well for himself.
Personality: Katerina is a bright, cheerful young woman. Inquisitive and personable, Katerina enjoys the company of people, and having long conversations. Often goes to places and does the things other people won't, and is more than willing to help people with whatever they need.
Katerina is also rather emotional; She is easily angered or upset, even if somebody is simply 'joking around' or throws a petty insult her way. She can't stand rudeness of any sort, but instead of telling the person off, she usually just takes it, until she either leaves, begins laughing nervously or starts crying (However, it would have to be an absolute TSUNAMI of insults for her cry).
Sensitivity is key when dealing with Katerina. She also can't stand making mistakes, so if she does make one, expect her to get frustrated or mad at herself.
Overall, Katerina is a nice, friendly girl who is just a tad sensitive.
Quirks: Has the ability to walk into a den of hungry lions and come out without so much as a scratch. That is to say, Lady Luck loves Katerina, who is an absurdly lucky woman. Which is good, when she's doing stories on more dangerous locations (Such as WR, for example).
Randomly starts singing and dancing around like an idiot when she's bored. The sillier the song, the more likely she is to sing it.
Likes: Baby animals, cute things, sweets, vegetables, exercise, video games (Surprisingly, the more violent, the better), shopping, people (Being a reporter, it helps to like people), Her family.
Dislikes: Meat, untidy rooms, winter clothes (Being all bundled up is uncomfortable to her), needles, laziness (Whether she's being lazy or someone else is), small spaces.
History: Katerina Cosmos was born January 20th to her mother, Alexandra, in a small town in Greece. Being born after her Father's death, Alexandra and Leander thought of her birth as a blessing, and a reason to be happy again. They knew Ioannus would be most upset if they didn't care for Katerina to the best of their abilities.
So, for most of her youth, Katerina was a happy, normal girl. Leander eventually took up the title of 'Man of the House', and was constantly by Katerina's side, protecting her and caring for her.
One Friday night, while their Mother slept, Katerina, 11, begged and pleaded with her brother Leander, 16, to play with her, and of course he complied. Even as the hours ticked by and both parties became increasingly tired, they continued to play, until about 4:00 in the morning, when they both finally went to bed. Of course, Saturday was the day Leander worked at the local grocery store, so when he had to wake up at 7:30 that morning, he quickly regret staying up so late. Still, her dragged himself out of bed, got dressed, and headed off to work on his bike...
It was later that day that Katerina awoke to her Mother telling her to get up and get dressed. When Katerina asked her why, her Mother simply repeated that she needed to get up and get dressed. Once she was dressed, her Mother rushed her into the car and sped to the local hospital. This worried Katerina, but she didn't ask her Mother why they were heading there. Once inside the hospital, Alexandra spoke to the receptionist, something Katerina couldn't hear, and soon found herself being dragged off to a room, where she saw Leander.
In a hospital bed.

Katerina quickly asked her Mother what had happened to him, but her Mother simply looked on at Leander, tears welling in her eyes. Shortly after they arrived in the room, a Doctor came into the room, and explained the situation in detail. Apparently, from what the police report said, Leander had been riding his bike along the side of the street, when he began to doze off and veered into the center of the street and into an oncoming car, from what eyewitness' told the police. This caused Katerina to make a horrifying realization; That, if she hadn't forced Leander to stay up so late, he wouldn't have been so tired, and wouldn't have crashed...
Weeks went by with Leander in the hospital, with Leander getting better and better by the day... except for his legs. The crash, it seemed, had caused him paralysis from the waist down. This only caused Katerina to feel more guilt over the situation. Eventually, she apologized to Leander for making him stay up so late that night, and said she felt terrible for doing this to him. But Leander, being the nice big brother that he was, told Katerina that it wasn't her fault, that she didn't do this to him, that these things happen... These words did little to alleviate her guilt. Leander noticed that, and went on to say that he'd have a harder time getting better if he had to see his little sister with such a sad face all the time, so she'd better get happy again soon, so that he can go home and play with her again. Katerina, wanting to do anything she could to make life easier for her older brother, decided that she'd try to be happier for him, so that he, too, could be happy...
Leander eventually went home, and aside from the wheelchair, was still the same old Leander that Katerina knew. They both decided to put the past behind them and went on with life as normal. Eventually, Leander took over their Mother's restaurant, and Katerina went on to be a newsreporter, moving to America at age 24 to become the news station's U.S. correspondent.
3 years later, Katerina is currently working on a news story about Psychics, particularly child psychics, at Whispering Rock Psychic Summer camp.
