Sorry I'm late for the RP party! I absolutely LOVE to roleplay. So...without further ado, here is my intro:
Player Handle: Miriku, Miri, asya173.
IMS: Nope.
E-Mail: yep: baby_aisha@cinci.rr.com
Cannon Or Original?: She is completely original, though she likes to make references.
Character Name: Miriku Okami Hoshi. Miriku doesn’t mean anything…Okami means ‘wolf’, and Hoshi means ‘star’.
Aliases: What aliases? She sucks with disguises and alternate personalities and whatnot.
Special Abilities: Let’s see…she knows ninjitsu (not like the stupid Naruto ninjitsu), but her entire home is composed of psychics much like her, so she took advantage of both abilities and created Psi-jitsu. She is also very connected with wolves. She also has a thing for swords, and is very skilled at art and sarcasm. XD
Profession: Uh…no, not really…
Skills: Yep. She is very skilled with pyrokinesis, invisibility, levitation and stealth, for some reason or another...she can also think straight in intense situations.
Weaknesses: Anything cute, cuddly, and can cause no harm whatsoever. Sugar/dream fluff deprivation. Disguises. Manners. Oh, can’t forget high-pitched sounds. It has nothing to do with supersensitive hearing, just a bad experiance with nails on a chalkboard.
Special Note: She has no real parents. Well, not that she knows of, anyway...she was adopted. Her parents are dead-her father killed her mother, and Miriku killed her father at age 11, when she was strong enough, and because he always tried to kill her. They never felt any love for her, but she did for them, until age 3. She had problems trusting people after that.
Age: 14, give or take a month/year. She’s usually too busy training to keep track of time.
Gender: Female. DUH.
Description: Ding.
Clothing Style/Uniform: See previous (yeah, that’s a Starman symbol on her chest.)
Family: No real family…her ‘parents’ simply made her for experimental purposes. Like I said before, she was adopted. Or...found in a cave somewhere full of wolves.
Personality: Uh…she is usually laid back and easygoing, but has a bit of a short fuse. She tends to use sarcasm a lot, which has become a habit, and can’t resist a good fight. Whenever she scares someone with her odd appearance, or the fact that she usually sneaks up on them, she apologizes profusely for it. So…yeah…
Quirks: Well…she’s addicted to videogames, she often talks to herself. She is quite familiar with the language of Japanes, and tends to say things in the language at random times, and thus, sometimes, most people can’t understand a word she’s saying. She also tends to randomly howl to the full moon, leading some people to belive that she thinks she's a wolf. When questioned on the subject, she simply responds, "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not."
Likes: Let’s see…sugar, videogames, her psychic abilities, wolves (well, she IS half wolf or something.), cacti, monster movies, comedy, swimming, manga (preferably the Japanese equivalent of True Psychic Tales), her Nintendo DS Lite, Pokemon, reading, fighting, ninjas, dream fluff (rarely ever seen without a bag full of them) and…well…yeah.
Dislikes: People who mistake her for a possessor of a demon (happens all the time.), classical music, high-pitched noises, Foxes, perverts (tends to beat up Nils on a daily basis), aliens, comedy-romance movies, the Naruto series (BIG one) volcanoes, American Superhero comic books, and tapioca pudding. XD
History: Okay, here goes.
She is a Psychonaut cadet and stealthy kid. She knows no mercy, and she has a sarcastic attitude and a lot more common sense than the people from her home, wherever that is. She hails from somewhere in Japan or America. No one is really sure, but it's more likely that it's America.
She was adopted, or rather, found in a cave full of wolves, but her 'dad' was constantly trying to kill her because she contained the ‘almighty wolf demon’ and he wanted the power it gave to Miriku to himself. Of course, he didn’t know that she really didn't have any, she just had a strong connection to wolves. At three years old, he murdered her 'mother' for not aggreeing with him, and was utterly traumatized and had problems trusting people, but that's another story.
Anyway, ever since she saw her 'dad' murder her 'mother', she got her act together and became the strongest person in her area, and took her psychic abilites to her advantage. At age 11, she could take it no longer and killed him, and no one ever found out, so her ‘uncle’, who was always nice to her, took his place.
So, three years later, Miriku turned 14, her dad was burning his @$$ off in hell, and Miriku was chillin’, and training students of her own, when someone found out that Miriku murdered her father, and thus, she ran away seeking refuge (see, THIS is where she forgot where she came from. Naturally, she had to destroy evidence of her existance.) , and found Whispering Rock, where she had been training herself only years earlier. So, she took refuge there, made some friends, yadda, yadda, yadda.
*Gasp*
Picture: AGAIN. …And here’s another picture of her, with some of her cohorts.
Roleplay Sample:
Miriku lay lazily in a sturdy branch in the highest tree in camp, her back to the hard, solid trunk, her favorite spot on the campus of Whispering Rock. No one could really argue, anyway. Everyone knew that it was kind of a pain to get there, but it was well worth it. She lay there, reading a copy of one of her favorite comics; the Japanese equivalent of True Psychic Tales, a comic translated literally as ‘Mind Warrior Stories’, and occasionally popping an orange-flavored dream fluff, her favorite, in her mouth. She hadn’t felt this relaxed since, well, ever. This was fantastic nothing could possibly ruin this perfect moment. Nothing-
“Attention all Campers!” Miriku was startled as she heard the loudspeaker. Oh, yeah. That’s right. She forgot the loudspeaker was like a sonic bomb at the altitude she was at. Literally.
“Something very important is occurring tonight,” The loudspeaker boomed again. “We will be having a very special guest from the official Psychonauts committee visiting our camp. So, be ready! That is all.” Miriku relaxed her hug on the tree and retreated to her former position. Special guest? She thought to herself. Well, I’ll just have to see for myself, now, won’t I?
FINAL edit: Hookay...yeah...I put some things in, I took some things out...uh...yeah.
