After a horrible first-impression... Let's try this again! Note: This is absurdly long. I'm a detailhound.
Player Handle: Jessica, Jess, "Hey New Kid", Pie.
IMS: Pwndlamer on AIM. Although, it is RARE that I am on...

Cannon Or Original?: Original.
Character Name: Cassandra Bojana (Pronounced Boh-YA-na)
Aliases: Cassie. However, she dislikes this name with great intensity.
Special Abilities: Creating a psychic shield is Cassandra's strong point; It's virtually impossible to break it when she has it up, and she can easily move and run when she does. She is also fairly good at telekinetics.
Profession: Psychonaut/Special guest who teaches Psychic Shielding classes at Camp Whispering Rock.
Skills: Can perform hand-to-hand combat if the situation calls for it; Surprisingly good singer and dancer (Thanks to her Mother hiring instructors when she was young); Can usually defuse emotions of anger and rage, making her an excellent negotiator; Kicks serious ass at Scrabble.
Weaknesses: Poor Pyrokinesis; Can come off as a bit cold, despite being a nice person; Doesn't like letting people know the real her, because once they do, they'll hate her or her family; Her family is also another big weakness, as they are one of the few things in this world that can make Cassandra lose her cool. She can't tolerate a bad word againts them, which is a good way to throw her off, mentally.
Special Note: Her whole family is her dark secret. She'd rather not let the world know she's apart of that particular Bojana family...
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Description: Cassandra is a young woman of average height, about 5''6', and weighs around 125 pounds. She is particularly thin, with a long, slender neck, small shoulders, and long, scrawny arms. Her chest is high and small, and, not surprisingly, her torso is also thin, with her hips subtly curving into shapely legs that get smaller and smaller towards the foot, with skinny ankles and small feet.
In contrast to all the dark clothing she wears is Cassandra's paper white skin that seems stretched, the only color being a faint, rosy-red blush upon her cheeks that adds a youthful, warm quality to her otherwise stone-cold appearence. Her eyes are constantly hidden behind a pair of shades (Except for the lashes), but on the rare occasion she removes the glasses, one is greeted by a pair of lovely, inviting brown eyes. Which is why she keeps the shades on...
As for the rest of her features, Cassandra's head is an oval-square of sorts, and seems to always be in a state of indifferent surprise, as her small eyebrows always appear to be stretched upwards, half-hidden behind her bangs. She lacks a nose, although, when viewed from the side, one does notice a small bump where it should be. Her mouth is small and more often than not, frowning, as her lips from a shap similar to a triangle without a bottom. She's not againts smiling, and when she does it is very charming, but she just doesn't make special time to smile. She was forced to do enough of that as a kid...
Framing her face is Cassandra's dark-brown hair that one could mistake for black at first glance. It is kept neat and tidy; The bangs are short and evenly cut, similar to a bowl haircut, spanning the length of her face, covering her forehead entirely. The rest of her hair is tucked behind her tiny, circular ears, except for two little tufts on either side her head that cling to the side of her face, curling upwards slightly at the tips. The main body of her hair is short; It ends a little under the base of her skull, where it is almost evenly cut. Atop her head, her hair is parted in a similar fashion to two small hillmounds standing next to eachother, jutting out slightly on either side, then smoothly coming in closer to her head before both sides of the ends of her hair stick out and point slightly upwards.
Clothing Style/Uniform: (I hope it is fine if I do it this way) Unless you were blind, it should be obvious at first glance that Cassandra is the kind of girl that dresses simply, but elegantly. Her favorite shade is black, which is the dominant color in her outfit.
Head: A pair of oval shades that she always seems to wear. They cover the entirety of her eyes, except for two little eyelashes that seem to escape either lens. They move and show her expressions just as if they were her actual eyes.
Torso: A form-fitting, black coat with a shimmery, silver lining. It's collar is popped and somewhat triangular, revealing the lining inside, a contrast to the rest of the garment. A little down from the collar is the first of four golden buttons that go down to her hips, where the coat opens up and flares out, the fabric ending at the knees. The sleeves are long and also flare out, covering her hands ever-so slightly. It's a common debate as to whether or not she actually wears anything under the coat. If you ask her, she'll simply state that such information is classified.
Hands: A pair of dark brown gloves. All the cool secret-agents wear them...
Legs: A pair of tight-fitting dark-gray pants that go down to her ankles. Not much to them...
Feet: A pair of knee-high, black leather boots, with the pointiest heels money could buy.
Family:
Mother; Nellie W. Bojana. 47. Former Model and wife to Darian Bojana. Surprisingly, a somewhat comepetent mother.
Father; Darian Bojana. 48. Worked as an agent... to celebrities, finding them work and whatnot. Now retired.
Sibling(s): Eleanor 'Ellie B' Bojana. 20. Model. Enjoys working out, but far from the sharpest knife in the rack.
Personality: Calm, cool, and mostly collected; Cassandra. A young woman with maturity beyond her years. Has everything together. Sort of.
For the most part, Cassandra fits the 'Agent' role very well; She's secretive, quiet but charismatic, and intelligent. She has an unshakable sense of duty, and sees that her mission, whether it is saving a hostage or making her morning cup of coffee, goes smoothly and without fail. If she does happen to fail something, Cassandra is likely to fall silent and stay hidden for a good few hours before she is ready to face the people she failed. Or even if she didn't fail anyone, she likes to think if she embarasses herself and then hides in a tree or whathaveyou for a few solid hours, then they'll most likely forget whatever it was she did, and they won't think any less of her.
When it comes to people, Cassandra takes the time to figure a person out, to find out who they really are (Without the use of a PsychoPortal), if they're worthy of her trust. She tends to be more welcoming to fellow Psychonauts, whom she shows great respect towards, especially the higher-ranks, than anyone else, but when she decides she can trust you, then you will see a much more relaxed, talkative young woman, instead of the aloof, reclusive agent. You might even hear a real laugh or glimpse a smile! Still, you'd have to be pretty high on her trust totem pole to get her to talk about her family in any great amount of detail.
Of course, if she decides to label you a bad person, expect... nothing. She'll only speak with people she dislikes when it is required, or if they speak to her first, and in all honesty, she's more likely to walk away than hear them out. She'll be fairly polite about it though, as politeness and good manners are very important to her. Unless she really hates you. Manners, shmanners.
When it comes to children, Cassandra has the bad tendency to speak to them as if they were adults, and sometimes, treat them as such, especially if they show signs of mental and emotional maturity. She is not afraid to call out the more immature children when they are being stupid, however, even if she does seem a bit mean.
Overall, Cassandra is a girl who can be either a serious-business agent or a pleasant young lady, depending on who she is with, and can seem a bit high-and-mighty at times, but is a good person at heart.
... Oh. And we mustn't forget; She's totally not above a little sarcastic humor.
Quirks: Known to pinch the bridge of her nose when frustrated or annoyed. If you're smart, you'll shut up and walk away. If you didn't take the hint, as most people don't, you'll probably end up suspended in the air by your undergarments. She'll apologize, most likely, but old habits die hard...
It should also be said: It's impossible to scare her. After living with her loony family, it would take something truly horrific to shake her. As it stands, however, she's downright unscarable. Seriously. People have tried. People have been smacked trying.
Likes: Black and white movies, coffee, dark colors, the night, moon-viewing, smart people, nice children, jazz.
Dislikes: Most recent movies, fruit punch, neon/fluorescent colors, oversleeping, idiots, brats, loud noises, cold weather, rain, tabloid magazines.
History: Cassandra Bojana was born Febuary 14th to Darian Bojana and his wife, Nellie, in Miami, Florida. Shortly after she was born, Darian secretly had a paternity test performed to see if Cassandra was indeed his actual child. He was surprised to find out that she was, in fact, of his own flesh and blood; He was certain Nellie had cheated on him with some other man, as the girl looked nothing like either of her parents, or even her grandparents; Unlike the rest of her family, who were all golden-haired, blue eyed, nicely tanned people, Cassandra was pasty, dark-haired, and brown eyed. It was clear from the moment of her birth that she was more than a little different from the rest of her family...
Despite her looks, she was still a beautiful baby to her parents, who loved and adored her and spoiled her at any given oppurtunity. At the age of 2, Nellie began teaching her little 'Cassie' about the finer points of makeup, hair, and what she called the 'Celery & Mentos Diet'. Cassandra was soon thrust into the spotlight of many TV commercials, billboard adds, and made-for-TV movies. For a time, the public adored 'Lil' Cassie', as she came to be known. But, as it would turn out, her career would pique at the young age of 3, with the arrival of her newborn sister, Eleanor. Her sister was much more obviously apart of the Bojana family; Her hair was yellow and soft, with eyes as blue, and skin the same level of orange-ish, overdone tan that the rest of the family (Save herself) had.
Her Mother was even faster at pushing her younger sibling onto the public than she had been with Cassandra; Months after her sister's birth, Cassandra noticed the familiar, round face of her sister popping up in diaper adds, and babyfood commercials. And slowly, work in showbiz came to a halt for her, and she didn't mind one bit. In fact, she was a very happy little girl when she could finally stop running to auditions and spending three hours on her hair, and instead spend that time watching Humphrey Bogart movies...
The years went by almost the same; Her Father was rarely home, Her Mother payed 90% of her attention to Eleanor, or 'Ellie B' as she was known in the media, and Cassandra herself continued to watch her movies and marvel at how odd her family was. Despite their strange ways, she never felt any animosity towards them, especially not her sister, who was actually very nice to her and thought of Cassandra as her rolemodel.
At age 6, Cassandra was walking home from Kindergarten, as she preferred to walk instead of taking whatever new car Daddy had at the moment, when a man jumped out at her from an alleyway. He told her to come with him, and that she wouldn't get hurt if she did. Cassandra remained her usual calm self, as she had dealt with kidnappers in the past (She was apart of a rich family... Hello, ransom). She politely declined his offer, and at this point, he became irate and whipped out a small knife, and again told her to come with him. It was then she felt something inside her awaken, some new power, something strong...
... But, she ignored it, and swiftly jumped and kicked the knife out of the man's hand, and then landed another good kick to his noggin. She was happy to see all those Self-Defense classes pay off as she continued on her way. However, halfway home, it began to rain, much to her displeasure, especially since she hadn't packed an umbrella. She pinched the bridge of her nose in annoyance, and continued walking. She soon realized, though, that despite the downpour, she was remaining quite dry. She opened her eyes, and noticed a small, glow-y, shield-thing above her head. She wasn't sure what it was, but she was glad it was there to keep her dry, even if she did look a bit strange, walking with her nose pinched.
Later that night, She and Eleanor got into an arguement over who got to play with which doll. It became rather heated, even her Mother was piping in (Her Father was sorta... reading the paper), and before she knew it, Cassandra was having a rather poorly-dressed, plastic doll flying fullspeed at her head, thrown by her little sister.
Cassandra was certain that her sister would've been reprimanded, if the room wasn't in a stunned silence. Even her Father was looking at her with a blank expression. What had she done that was so odd? The silence was broken when her sister ran out of the room screaming, and her Mother ran up to her and held her tightly, proclaiming something about having a 'psychic' in the family. Her Mother seemed more happy than anything...
As it turned out, her Mother and Father explained, there were these people called 'Psychonauts' who were... secret agents or something, she really didn't understand, but her parents seemed thrilled at the notion that she had the potential to be one. They quickly hired psychic tutors and coaches to make their condo a personal training facility for her. Over the years, Cassandra honed her psychic abilities, especially her shielding, and at age 8 was sent to Murmering Boulder Summer Camp for The Gifted, where she made friends, took tests, and drank a lot of coffee.
Shortly after being sent to Murmuring Boulder, however, it seemed her family went into chaos. The newspapers that she often swiped from the staff were all over her Father apparently laundering money from his clients, her Mother 'allegedly' running a sweatshop in some small country to produce her clothing line, and 'The effects these actions will have on their poor, doomed children, the less-famous of the two currently being pushed off on some Summercamp'.
Cassandra became furious over the headlines, especially so when her fellow campers wouldn't stop pestering her with questions or making fun of her and her family. This is about the time she picked up her habit of performing 'telekinetic wedgies'.
The longer she went to Whispering Rock, the worse things got at home, 'allegedly'. Over the years, her parents were accused of infedelity, avoiding their taxes, sexual harassment, illegal gambling, and arranging cage-matches between orphans with fatal diseases, just to name a few.
At age 16, Cassandra was offered a position as a new recruit into the Psychonauts, but declined at first, much to the chagrin of her parents. What she really wanted to do was maybe go to college, or something other than what her parents wanted her to do. It wasn't that she hated them; She just wanted to live her own life for awhile.
However, once Cassandra did find herself in college at age 18, she soon came to the realization that she was still the child of two people who were slanderized everyday in the headlines, and that, not unlike summercamp, college was full of idiots that kept pestering her with questions and stupid jokes. They were lucky the TK wedgie thing had died down. Sort of.
After a few months in college, Cassandra finally accepted the offer to become an official Psychonaut, with the hopes that the Psychonauts weren't full of idiots that asked stupid questions, as well...
Over the years, she went on a number of missions, and felt quite at home among the Psychonauts, while her Mother and Father, tired of the tabloids, retired and moved to a nice beachouse in the Bahamas with Eleanor, where Cassandra is always welcomed by her strange-but-still-family family.
(Long enough? Goodness me...)
Picture: Will post a link to the picture someday, when I have a scanner. And I wish I did have that scanner, as I feel a did a horrendous job describing her. xD;
Roleplay Sample:
The clanking of silverware and the soft murmur of patrons, over the sounds of slow, jazzy tunes, the scent of coffee beans and creamer so strong that it could be smelled all the way outside of the building.
It was a nice place, she thought.
She kept to herself, sitting at a small table near the window, gently blowing her coffee as she watched the people outside walk passed the small shop, the streets alive with the sounds of cars whizzing by and the footsteps of people walking to work, in the early morning.
Pressing the mug to her lips as she turned her attention to the morning paper, the headline instantly jumped out at her: "Famous Singer Accused of Shoplifting!"
Her memory wandered back to the days when the famous person in question was usually somebody in her family. Nowadays, she supposed, the gossiphounds had, for lack of a more suitable word, better people to write about. Not that she minded....
Gently placing the paper back upon the table, she took another sip of her coffee, feeling the liquid warm her from the inside, her gaze falling upon her fellow patrons in the small coffeeshop; Some on their laptops, others chatting with friends, a few still in line, waiting to make their orders...
She sighed.
It really was a nice place.
